The Growing Need for Environmental Awareness

With rapid urbanization, population growth, and unsustainable resource consumption, our environment faces unprecedented challenges. Improper waste disposal, declining water resources, and soil degradation are just a few pressing issues. Addressing these problems requires not just individual effort but also collective action, beginning with the younger generation.

This workshop aimed to tackle these issues head-on by equipping students with practical knowledge and solutions. By focusing on three critical areas—solid waste management, vermicomposting, and rainwater harvesting—the workshop provided participants with the tools they need to contribute to a sustainable future.
