HELP Society organises an Art Competition to promote the North East Integration Rally 2026 at Vivekananda Vidyalaya High School, Haflong, Dima Hasao, under the theme Climate Change and Green Deeds
23.11.2025, Haflong, Dima Hasao || Team HELP Society or Helping Everyone Live and Prosper Society successfully organised an Art Competition on the 23rd of November 2025 at Vivekananda Vidyalaya High School, Haflong, as part of the promotion for the North East Integration Rally 2026 under the Climate Change & Green Deeds campaign. The event drew an impressive turnout, with over 100+ students participating across two groups, showcasing remarkable creativity, awareness, and artistic talent.

The competition was designed to raise awareness about climate change, environmental protection, and sustainable living. Students showcased their creativity through meaningful artwork, illustrating themes such as sustainability, green practices, conservation, and the collective responsibility of protecting the environment. Their vibrant expressions reflected a deep understanding of the urgent need for climate action.

After a successful display of creativity, a prize distribution ceremony was held to acknowledge the winners from both groups.
Results of the Competition
Group A (Class 6–8)
- 1st Prize: Thana Das – St. Agnes Higher Secondary School (Class VII)
- 2nd Prize: Sagirika Deb – St. Agnes Higher Secondary School (Class VIII)
- 3rd Prize: Sishant Debnath – Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Haflong (Class VIII)
Group B (Class 9–10)
- 1st Prize: Miss Puja Laubangdisa – Kendriya Vidyalaya, Haflong (Class IX)
- 2nd Prize: Miss Loveleen Thaosen – Kendriya Vidyalaya, Haflong (Class IX)
- 3rd Prize: Miss Bandana Singha – Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Haflong (Class IX)

All other participants were awarded participation certificates as a token of appreciation for their effort and creativity.
Addressing the event, Shri Surojeet Das, President of HELP Society, congratulated all winners and participants for their outstanding contributions. He announced that the prize winners would be formally felicitated when the North East Integration Rally 2026 reaches Haflong, adding special significance to their achievement.
He extended heartfelt appreciation to Miss Puja Munda, Cultural Secretary of HELP Society, for her continued dedication, planning, and coordination in successfully organising the competition.

About North East Integration Rally 2026
The North East Integration Rally (NEIR) 2026 is an initiative aimed at strengthening unity and cultural connectivity among the eight North Eastern states. The rally promotes regional harmony, cultural exchange, peace, and environmental awareness. Through initiatives like this Art Competition, HELP Society aims to inspire young people to become active advocates for environmental responsibility and North East integration.
