22.05.2026 | Haflong, Dima Hasao, Assam: Day 2 of Trivia Fest™ 2026 (Fourth Edition), organized by HELP Society (Helping Everyone Live and Prosper Society), was successfully conducted at Vivekananda Vidyalaya High School, Haflong, bringing together students, educators, and community members for a day filled with learning, creativity, environmental awareness, and healthy competition.
Widely recognized as one of the most anticipated youth festivals in Dima Hasao, Trivia Fest™ 2026 continues to provide a dynamic platform for students to showcase their talents, develop new skills, and engage in meaningful educational and social initiatives. Day 2 of the festival featured an informative E-Waste Management Awareness Session along with a series of exciting Inter-School Literary Competitions, attracting enthusiastic participation from schools across the district.
The day began with an awareness session on E-Waste Management, conducted by Binbag Recycling, the Powered By Sponsor of the Trivia Fest 2026. The session focused on educating students about the growing challenges of electronic waste, the importance of responsible disposal practices, and the role of recycling in protecting the environment.
Students learned about the harmful effects of improper e-waste disposal and the importance of adopting sustainable practices in their daily lives. The interactive session encouraged participants to become environmentally conscious citizens and highlighted how collective efforts can contribute towards building a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
HELP Society expressed its sincere gratitude to Binbag Recycling for supporting Trivia Fest™ 2026 and for taking the initiative to conduct this valuable awareness programme for the students of Haflong and Dima Hasao. The organization noted that environmental education remains an important component of youth development and community progress.
Following the awareness programme, the venue came alive with the much-awaited Day 2 Inter-School Literary Competitions, powered by Binbag and co-powered by Eyewear Gallery. Students from various schools across Dima Hasao participated with great enthusiasm in a diverse range of competitions designed to promote creativity, knowledge, critical thinking, and self-expression.
The competitions included Quiz Competition, Debate Competition, Extempore Speech Competition, Art Competition, Creative Writing, and several other literary and intellectual events, providing participants with an opportunity to showcase their talents and abilities before judges and audiences.
Throughout the day, students demonstrated remarkable confidence, creativity, communication skills, and intellectual excellence. The competitions fostered a spirit of healthy competition and encouraged participants to think critically, express their ideas effectively, and learn from one another.
The vibrant atmosphere at Vivekananda Vidyalaya High School, Haflong, reflected the core vision of Trivia Fest™ 2026—to empower young minds, celebrate talent, and create meaningful opportunities for personal growth and development. Teachers, parents, volunteers, and supporters praised the festival for providing a valuable platform where students can gain exposure, build confidence, and develop essential life skills beyond the classroom.
